untitled

These pictures were taken during the Legends of Texas Swing Music Fest held on the Alamo movie set.

Don Herlitz (in the red bonnet) was a Mexican officer thru the whole movie. He can really be seen (in the movie) dropping his spy glass after Crockett plays his fiddle from the wall.
Gene Robinson (in the buckskin jacket) was an Alamo defender. You can catch a glimps of him ( in the movie) firing at the Mexicans from the North wall during the attack.

These were taken when we were shooting off the SW wall, next to the 18 pound cannon, for the crowd.

Bagpipes by the 18 pounder on SW wall.

L-R Me, Don Herlitz and Gene Robinson. Don was a Mexican officer throughout the movie and can be seen full face, lowering his brass spyglass after Crockett plays his fiddle from the wall. Gene died in the Alamo on the north wall and was the assistant armouror for the whole movie. And I was in field scenes with Dennis Quaid throughout the movie and then in the Battle of San Jacinto at the end.
